Streets of Divisoria: Ylaya and Tabora

January 16, 2012

After review, I headed again to Divisoria by myself! I know it’s kind of scary but I am really thrilled by the cheap at the same time unique finds there! You just have to wear simple clothes so that you can’t attract the bad guys! I am getting familiar now with Manila and even if I curse its pollution, I am beginning to fall in love with this city. :)
Divisoria is located at the heart of Manila where the greatest bargains happen. It offers different types of goods, name it, Divisoria has it, clothes (RTW), toys, shoes, fruits, household supplies, fabrics, accessories, handicrafts, and so many more! There are tiangges all over the streets and they also have malls. The malls are: Tutuban, 168, Divisoria Mall, Mesic Mall, 999 mall and I also saw that there’s a Robinson’s Place that will be open soon.

168 Shopping Mall. Malls there are air-conditioned don't worry :)

HOW TO GET THERE:
It’s so easy to get to Divisoria. You just have to reach LRT1. It’s the main Landmark. J
If you’re from the North Part, you could ride the MRT-LRT1 or LRT2-LRT1.
Buy your ticket to LRT1 Doroteo Jose Station and ride a Jeepney with a signboard saying “DIVISORIA”.
Or if you are along Taft, you could just ride a jeepney to Divisoria but this will take you long especially if it’s traffic.

When I last went to Divisoria about a week ago, I went to Tutuban and 168 and I couldn’t help myself but buy! I was only there to find a red dress for a party and I bought a lot! But it was worth it, I was also able to buy stuffs for my brothers.

YLAYA STREET
This week, I went there for accessories and handicrafts. I was able to calm and prevented myself to enter the malls there. I went there with a little knowledge and my trip was very adventurous and fun. There’s this famous street for fabric that I first visited, it’s the Ylaya street. And I bought curtain accessories and pillow cover, all for my DIY clothes, can’t wait to make a post about it!:) This is where the fabric, textile, cloth, all there! Also household accessories and items could be found there.

 TABORA STREET
After Ilaya, I asked a vendor where could I buy beads and studs and the like, she said it’s located next to Ylaya street which is Tabora Street. In this street, items like lace, ribbons, handicrafts, sewing supplies are located. I bought lots for my DIY accessories; I swear I love shopping there! It is 50% cheaper here than in malls!
Bought this buckles! Prices range from 15-50php for a pair :)
Check out my DIY (Do-It-Yourself) Rings made from buckles here.

Wedding souvenirs, gowns, party souvenirs, made to order suits & gowns, are packaging are also here!!! Shopping haven that is so affordable!

I suggest you go there during weekdays to avoid overcrowded-ness! But even if it’s Monday, a lot are still shopping, imagine weekends. Yay.

Visit Divisoria! It’s not as scary as it seems. If you’re a fan of Greenhills Shopping Mall, I tell you, prices here are half the prices of GH!:)

Since there are people asking for directions to Ylaya and Tabora, I edited a map for you guys! Here you go!

    1. Hi! With the fabrics, there are like 50 plus stores where you could choose from, so the names of the shops aren't that important cause it's everywhere! hehe

with the handicrafts, it's like a street with around 10++ stores like that, you could easily see them.

It is way cheaper than in malls! Half the price!:) Thanks for reading!

  8. Gay or straight, sensual sizegenetics is definitely a therapy and also that will increase libido. The goal is sensual, not necessarily sexual gratification. Could be used as a good treatment for premature ejaculation. It will help the recipient of male sizegenetics to relax long enough to prolong arousal. This will directly increase pleasure. It really is true that any sizegenetics are usually an a sexually sensual experience, especially when your mind and body are acting together. Then, it shall be a much more intense experience. You will see a freedom of spirit when your blood is flowing and your skin is glistening with warm oil.

    1. There are many online retail stores that sell that on Multiply before that cheap but I can't open Multiply anymore, tried to find it but failed. If you want you could try what I did, I bought a "rakista" belt then removed some from it. Look at my DIY shorts here: http://instagram.com/p/NyXsswlQ4Y/

      or try sulit.com.ph here
